Evaluations Are Here… and So Are the Emotions

Walk into the gym this week and you’ll feel it instantly—the buzz, the butterflies, the electric energy of evaluations. Athletes are working their tails off, parents are holding their breath, and coaches are deep in the zone.

Now me? I’m what they call THE GYM MOM. I don’t have a whistle or a clipboard, but I do have hugs, prizes, and a front-row seat to the magic happening in this gym.

Here’s what I’ve seen:

Your Coaches See the Bigger Picture
You chose this gym for a reason. You saw something special here—something different. And that “something” starts with our coaches.
They’re not just assigning skills. They’re building confidence—seeing the whole athlete: their ability, potential, and heart. Every decision they make is about what will help your athlete shine—not just today, but all season long.
So if you’re second-guessing, wondering why your athlete landed where they did—breathe. Trust the process. These coaches have your child’s best interest at the center of every choice.

Let Them Work Hard—and Have Fun
One of my favorite things about this gym? We believe in sweat and smiles.
We want our athletes to work. To show up, push through tough days, and surprise themselves with what they can do. But we also want them to love being here. That means silly moments between drills, dancing while waiting in line, and celebrating every new skill—big or small.

The wins are fun, but the real magic? Watching a young athlete realize that the work is the reward—and seeing them become someone they’re proud of, on and off the floor.

The Athlete Is Always the Heartbeat
This gym doesn’t revolve around titles or trophies (though hey, we like those too). It revolves around the athlete.
Their growth.
Their well-being.
Their confidence.
Their joy.

Every decision in this building—from team placements to pep talks—is rooted in what’s best for the athlete, not just as a cheerleader, but as a human being.

And as someone lucky enough to watch it all unfold day after day—I can tell you, the heart behind this place is real.

One Last Thing…
If you’re reading this as a parent: thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your kid. For supporting the process. For cheering loudly and loving big.

If you’re reading this as an athlete: keep going. Keep showing up. Keep laughing, trying, growing. You’re doing better than you know—and we’re all so proud of you.

And if you ever need a hug, a pep talk, prayer, or just someone to listen—you know where I’ll be: front desk, full heart, and always in your corner.

With love,
Ms. Michelle
